Events

Events may be used for two different purposes. An event can be used to provide information for the client's awareness and may persuade them to book at that time or it may be used to restrict the client from booking during a certain event.

If you don't wish to set up any events for your park, you can check the "I have reviewed this page" box. If you miss this step, the wizard will prompt you to check the box before moving on. Click the "Next Step" to go to the next step in the setup wizard.

To create an Event, do the following:

  1. Create an event by clicking the "Add" button.
 
  1. You will see entry boxes show up under the "New Event"
  2. Use the month dropdown menu under "From" to select your beginning month for the event.
  3. Use the day dropdown menu under "From" to select your beginning day for the event.
  4. Use the year dropdown menu under "From" to select your beginning year for the event.
  5. Use the month dropdown menu under "To" to select your ending month for the event.
  6. Use the day dropdown menu under "To" to select your ending day for the event.
  7. Use the year dropdown menu under "To" to select your ending year for the event
  8. If the event occurs every year at the same time, choose the yearly from the drop down marked "Recurrence".
  1. If the event is only provided for those staying in a particular type, choose the type from the drop down labeled "Types."
  2. Check the "yes" box if this effect restricts reservations during this time. The blocked Event Days section shows you how many restricted days you have blocked.
  3. Enter the name of the event in the "Name" text box.
  4. Enter a description of the event in the "Description" text box.
  5. Click "Save" to save the event.
  6. Repeat steps 1 through 14 for each event you want to have at your park.
  7. Check the "I have reviewed this page" box. If you miss this step, the wizard will prompt you to check the box before moving on.
  8. Click the "Next Step" to go to the next step in the setup wizard.
